Composition
1. The Executive Committee appoints the members of the Disciplinary Committee and the Appeal Committee for a period of eight (8) years. It designates the number of members deemed necessary for the com- mittees to function properly.
2. It appoints the chairman of each committee from among the members for the same period of eight years.
3. Each committee convokes a plenary session to designate a deputy chairman from among the members present by a simple majority for the same period of eight (8) years. The candidates are not entitled to vote.
4. At least one member of the chairmanship of each committee (chair- man or deputy chairman) shall be domiciled in the country in which FIFA’s headquarters are located.
5. The chairman of each committee shall be a lawyer.
