Centralisation of Sanctions

The Disciplinary Committee secretariat confi rms them in writing to the national association or club concerned or, in the case of fi nal competitions, to the head of the delegation concerned.

2. This confi rmation serves only as notifi cation: sanctions (cautions, expulsions, automatic match suspensions) have an immediate effect on subsequent matches even if the letter of confi rmation reaches the national association, club or head of delegation concerned later.

3. To ensure that the central registration system functions properly, the confederations shall inform FIFA of sanctions that have been pro- nounced during their own competitions and are likely to be carried over to a FIFA competition (cf. art. 39 par.
