Article 125
Time Limit for Appeal
1. The party intending to appeal shall announce his intention in writing within three (3) days of communication of the decision.
2 Reasons for the appeal shall then be given in writing within a further time limit of seven (7) days, commencing upon the expiry of the first time limit of three (3) days.
3 The announcement of the intention to appeal shall be sent directly to FIFA. The petition of appeal shall, however, be forwarded to FIFA via the national association.
4 The national association receiving the petition of appeal shall forward it immedi- ately to FIFA. The decisive moment for complying with the time limit for lodging this petition is the moment it reaches FIFA.
